her body is a forest

a lush forest

her body is full of life

the sun shines off her skin

like water droplets do as they glisten

perched on the tips of leaves

a stream can be heard deep within the canopy

a running river

deep and unassuming

ready to take you under

most don't ever lay eyes on it

can't fathom what it means to drink from it

i dove heard first and breathed second

the birds sing on command

wrapped around her arms like vines

then at night in the dark

she becomes the stark

contrast that the glow of the moon provides

some days i take long, long walks

a path provided by the curvatures of her shape

some days i walk for days at a time

lost in the labyrinth of her maze

i'm amazed

how i ever find my way out

for if she so desired

i'd be lost for an eternity

that is why i touch her with this in mind

my hands caress the leaves as i walk

knowing at any moment

she can have me lost forever and i would wish to never be found.
